Well if you are the one who is the first one to stand up with your personal camera and take pics in your B'day parties or your parents' anniversary or your outdoor picnics , it's high time you think of making a career out of it.A photography course can be an interesting proposition for you if you got an inherent creative mind together with some aesthetics and then get your skill polished with technical expertise. If we go what experts say then it's turning out to be a a great lucrative profession. With the increasing boom of the electronic and print media in today’s world there is a huge demand for professional photographers.

Eligibility: A candidate is required to pass the Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination for enrollment in a Diploma or Certificate course in photography.

A professional photographer can work as an advertisement photographer, industrial photographer, fashion photographer, fine arts photographer, forensic photographer or as a freelance photographer in India. A freelance photographer can earn a lot by selling photographs to various journals, magazines,news channels,etc.
Scope abroad: Just indulge your art in renowned fashion houses abroad, prepare portfolios of models, work in various advertisement agencies and specialize in mail order photography etc. or work as a digital photographer in various studios abroad or as a wildlife photographer with travel and tourism magazines or T.V. channels like Discovery or National Geographic to take rare photographs of landscapes, wild animals etc. Even Scotland Yard and Interpol recruit forensic photographers to take photographs at the scene of the crime.
