Once you are accepted by a university, you will receive a letter called an 'offer of a place in a course' from that university. The student should then apply for a preliminary assessment to the visa processing office.
The letter to this office should include the following:
The proposed entry level of the student
The name of the course applied for
The CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) course and provider codes
The proposed start and end dates of the course
The full tuition fees for the course

Once this information is received by the visa processing office, the preliminary assessment will be conducted. If the assessment is favourable, then the visa office will instruct the university to send the student an electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE) certificate.
The student may then be asked to pay the OSHC premium and undergo medical tests.
Apart from these documents, you must be able to show that:
You can cover the costs for air fares, course fees and living costs for the duration of the stay in Australia

How to get Student Visa?

Once you have decided that you want to attend a boarding school or Univ in the United States, it is necessary to get your government documents in order to enter the U.S. You must get these papers both from your country and from a representative of the U.S. Government. The steps you must take:

Apply for a passport. (Allow weeks or even months for this process)
Ask what other specific exit documents are required by your country in addition to the passport to allow you to study abroad. These may include:
-Legal agreements requiring you to return at a specific age, at the completion of your program or for military service.
-Financial disclosures verifying the amount of money you are taking from the country.
-Educational agreements.
Obtain an I-20 form (Certificate of Eligibility for student applicants) from the college/school you are going to attend.
You will need to go to your nearest U.S. Embassy or Consular Office to apply for an F-1 student visa.(If, your studies will be more than 18 hours per week, you need an F-1 or M-1 student visa. F-1 student visas are granted to academic and language students for the full duration of their studies. M-1 student visas are issued to vocational students for up to 1 year of studies.)
In order to apply you will need to complete Form DS-156, an Application for Non-Immigrant Visa as well as DS-158 Contact Information and Work History for Nonimmigrant Visa Applicant. You will be asked to present your I-20 form (which you will receive from the school). You will also need to show that you have financial support for the entire time you plan to study in the U.S.
Get an "Affidavit of Support" form from the Embassy or Consulate. Complete this form with information about your sources of financing and submit it along with your other documents. Some schools may also require a copy of your financial support statements.

The source of funds have to be from nationalised banks. Other sources such as details of sponsors, statement of accounts from a savings account and bonds are accepted.

(c) Plan of action on your return to India.

7.You cannot arrive in the U.S. more than 30 days before your study start date. If you need to come sooner than this, you must obtain a visitor visa.Also,When you arrive at the port-of-entry, you will provide Form I-20 to the Border Protection official. The official will review your documents and authorize your entry into the U.S. You will be enrolled in the US-VISIT program and an I-94 Arrival-Departure Record will be placed in your passport. IELTS or International English Language Testing System is a standardized test to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. It is a mandatory exam for people who apply to study or work in the countries where English is the primary language. The test is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council and IDP: IELTS Australia.

IELTS assesses ones complete range of English language skills and nearly all institutes in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and canada seek IELTS scores from each applicant. The IELTS test is held upto 4 times a month.

The test comprises of four band modules namely Listening, Reading, writing and Speaking. All candidates are supposed to take the Listening and Speaking modules. There is a choice for Reading and Writing modules, where a candidate can either opt for Academic or General training module, determined by the purpose of taking IELTS.

Test duration of IELTS is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

ACADEMIC TRAINING:

There are four sections in the Listening test in order of increasing difficulty. The first two sections are on topics of general interest. Section one will be in the form of a dialogue and section two will be a monologue. Sections three and four will have an education or training focus. In the listening section, the listening material which is recorded on a cassette tape will be played, only once. As the candidates listen to this, they should write the answers on the question booklet. At the end of the recorded material, the candidates are given 10 minutes to copy their answers onto the answer sheet.

In the reading test, the candidates are required to read three texts of between 500 and 900 words each. There will be around 40 questions to answer and record on the answer sheet within the 60 minutes. The texts and questions increase in difficulty.
There are two tasks in the Writing test. Task one which should be completed in 20 minutes, is a report based on some graphic information and the candidates are required to describe it in a minimum of 150 words. Task two, that carries more weight in the final band score, is an essay based topic which should be written in at least 250 words in 40 minutes.
The Speaking test is in the form of an oral interview between the candidate and an examiner. During the interview you will need to answer questions asked by the interviewer, speak at length on a topic selected by the interviewer and give and justify your opinions on a range of issues related to that topic.

The first three Modules- Listening, Reading and Writing- must be completed in one day. The Speaking Module may be taken, either 7 days before or after the other three modules.

IELTS scores are usually indicated by the band scale. The assessment of the candidates will be reported according to a scale from bands one to nine.The most common requirement is a band score of between 6 and 7. A good IELTS score (band score of 6.0 and more) along with a good GPA (Grade Point Average) is usually required for many colleges.

Moreover, all students who have received visa approvals through e-Visa will no more require visa evidencing / visa stamping on their passport. This means another saving of Rs 281 per passport for each individual case. A copy of their approval letter and entitlement letter will be enough for traveling to Australia.

To become an actuary one must be a Fellow of a recognised professional examining body like the Actuarial Society of India (ASI), Mumbai or the Institute of Actuaries, London. The work of an actuary involves a lot of number crunching and the nature of work is quite tedious, butcan be rewarding in terms of intellectual challenge, status, job satisfaction and earnings.

Criteria : A person is eligible to be considered for admission as student member if he / she satisfies the following conditions . 1. Should have completed 18 years of age
2. Should have attained anyone of the following Educational Standards
a. Passed 10+2 (H.S.C) or equivalent with at least 85% in Mathematics / Statistics
b. Graduate or Post Graduate in Maths/Stats/Econometrics
c. Any Engineer / CA / CS / MBA (Finance) / MCA
d. Any member of Society of UK / US / Australia
e. Fully qualified members of following Professional bodies such as i. The Institute Of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) ii. The Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India (ICWAI) iii. The Institute of Financial Analyst of India(IFAI) iv. The Insurance Institute of India (III) passing with subjects 81- mathematical Basis of Insurance and 82- Statistics
f. A students of following actuarial bodies provided atleast one subject has been passed from these bodies i. Society of Actuaries , USA ii. Casualty Actuarial Society, USA

Examination : The study course of ASI is divided into four stages :
Core Technical Stage : This consists of 8 subjects each with one paper of 100 marks ( CT1 to CT8) and all are compulsory
Core Application Stage : This consists of 2 compulsoy subjects ( CA 1 to CA3) , CA1 consists of two papers 9 CA 1 and CA 1 2) whereas CA2 and CA3 shall have one paper each
Specialist Technical Stage : This stage consists of 6 papers ( ST1 to ST6) and the students would required to choose any two Specialist Application Stage : This again shall consist of 6 papers (SA1 to SA6) and the student hasto clear anyone. Expertisein mathematics is extremely important.
A student member becomes eligible to get the Certificate in Actuarial Techniques (CAT) on passing all the CT Series subjects.

The examinations are held every year in the month of May/June and Ocotber/November at the following centres.
India : Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Chennai, Bhopal, Bangalore, Lucknow, Coimbatore and Cuttack.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is a recognised professional body formed to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries. It is the only institute which offers this course and awards the certificate bestowing the designation of Company Secretary to a candidate qualifying for membership of the institute. The institute has its headquaters at New Delhi and has four regional offices at Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai. In addition their are 36 chapters and 10 satellite chapters located all over the country.

Secretaries of India is the only recognised organisation offering this course. The course consists of three stages.These are as follow.
FOUNDATION: The institute offers foundation course for senior secondary(10+2) pass students willing to join Company Secretaryship Course. Earlier admission was open to only those candidates possessing minimum graduate degree.
INTERMEDIATE: Students enrolled One of the prescribed qualifications for a company secretary is the membership Institute of Company in the company secretaries course have to appear for the intermediate examination after successfully passing the foundation course. All gradutes, post-gradutes (excluding fine arts) and pass in the final examination of the ICWAI or ICAI or of any other accountancy Institution in India or abroad recognised by the Council of the Institute are exempted from passing the foundation examination and can directly enroll in the intermediate course on payment of such exemption fee.
FINAL: On successfully completing the Intermediate Examination, students qualify to appear for the Final Examination which can be pursued after 18 months of enrolling in the course and having undergone satisfactory postal or oral tuition for a particular group of final examination.
